Metabolica

The founders

A father, a son, a shared vision: helping people feel good.

Founders

Camminata Metabolica® was born in a complex historical moment, in 2020, when everything was closed and the body seemed to have less and less space. That's when Stefano and Davide Fontanesi decided to (re)act. Not by creating yet another discipline, but by transforming the most natural gesture in the world — walking — into an accessible, innovative, and profound method. Father and son, but above all two people united by one intent: making wellness a daily right, not a luxury for a few. Two different paths, two generations, one direction: helping others feel stronger, more aware, more alive.

Stefano

Stefano Fontanesi

Doctor of Exercise Science, Trainer, educator, innovator. He has dedicated over thirty years to movement, health, and research. He worked in the fitness world as an entrepreneur, collaborated with the University of Padua on scientific studies, and developed post-rehabilitation protocols recognized by the University of Florence as well. Over time, he has designed patented tools such as the AcquaFitBike and created solutions to stimulate microcirculation, always with a clear goal: bringing wellness outside the usual patterns, outside gyms, into real life.

Davide

Davide Fontanesi

Athlete, mental coach, specialist in human potential. Italian Kitesurf champion, he faced two major injuries that risked ending his sports career. From that crisis came transformation: he studied coaching with some of Italy's best trainers, deepened sports psychology, and combined his athletic experience with a new perspective on body and mind. Davide brings to Camminata Metabolica® the emotional and motivational vision of the method, the work on emotions, mental energy, and resilience.

Two generations, one mission

Camminata Metabolica® is proof that something extraordinary can come from the simple. An accessible method, a vibrant community, a concrete answer to the need for wellness. Because taking care of yourself shouldn't be complicated. It takes one step. And then another. Together.
